Course and Subject Guides Basic Information:
- Course guides provide information for a specific class and assignment in that class
- Subject guides provide subject specific information about an area of study at FSU
- You may also hear them called LibGuides
To access Course and Subject Guides:
- Go to the library’s website: www.frostburg.edu/library
- On the left-hand side of the screen, select the drop-down arrow next to Quick Links
- The links for Course Guides and Subject Guides will be located there.
Subject Guides have been designed to provide information about:
- The librarian who is the liaison to that specific subject area and ways to contact the librarian
- Subject specific databases, reference materials, and e-books
- Subject specific website curated by the liaison librarian
- New Books Newsletters
